Air filling and floating answer different questions
An air-filled balloon can be used in a supported display without a helium-floating claim. For this range, air filling is confirmed for 16, 18, 32, 36, 38 and 40 inches.
Helium-floating guidance should be read by size: 36, 38 and 40 inches are recommended. The smaller three sizes are not recommended; this wording does not claim they can never lift under any circumstances.
The size guidance applies to both materials
The same recommendation applies to the confirmed Nylon + PE and PET + PE options. A customer-selected material or thickness does not remove the size distinction. The recommendation against film below 0.027 mm also remains in place.
Indoor floating time has two stages
Under normal indoor use, PET balloons float continuously for 5 days and Nylon balloons for 7 days before gradually becoming less full and developing wrinkles. After that, they can continue floating for approximately 2 additional days with reduced fullness.
Do not combine the stages into a promise of 7 days of full-looking PET display or 9 days of full-looking Nylon display. Continued floating and a full-looking appearance are different endpoints.
Air-filled retention
With air filling, both materials can remain inflated for 15 days or more under normal indoor use. UNDALO states normal use indoors and outdoors from −15 °C to +50 °C.
